
Advanced Skeleton Rig

This rig was made to rig a 3D character for an animation project utilising Advanced Skeleton's rigging system.
Advanced Skeleton made the rig optimised for game engines, which was useful for later animation stages that required exporting Maya animations and importing them into Unreal Engine. Advanced Skeleton also provided the rig with advanced body and face controls (ctrls) to give animators more freedom to create dynamic posing.
In addition to creating a basic advanced skeleton rig, I developed custom ear, weapon and mask visibility ctrls to further assist animators.

Full Body Human Rig

This rig was created to demonstrate manual 3D rigging skills for facial and body mechanic animation.
This rig was developed for optimised animation. For example, the inclusion of IK leg controls (ctrls), finger custom attributes, feet custom attributes and diverse facial ctrls provide animators useful ctrls to achieve dynamic poses fast.
During this process, I found skin weight painting challenging due to its long time consumption. To assist this integral process, I mirrored skin weight paints across the model to speedup the workflow.
